I've been so busy blogging about my trip to Switzerland that I haven't been able to blog about my adventures in Vienna this past week. I was glad to be back in Vienna after being away for almost two weeks. Thursday was a super fun day because Jenny's {now official} fiance came to surprise her! Click here to read and watch the video of what happened. Friday I went to two museums and then went to Europe largest open air concert! The musicfest went all weekend long but the only person we recognized was Billy Idol.
{blurry picture of Ale and I at the concert}

Whitney, Ale, and I dancing around and singing "dancing with my se-elf"!
Saturday Ale and I were lucky enough to spent the day with our host mom's son Ronnie! He drove us to Durnstein which is about an hour west of Vienna along the Danube. We hiked up to a castle that was build in the 1100's!
Here is the view from half way up. We were in the 'wine valley' of Austria.
The Danube.
Sitting in the window of the castle.
Ale and I were glad to finally make it to the top. It was humid and we were really hot.
The ride home was pretty uneventful and it was so hot and humid in the car. Ale and I fell asleep like little kids... slightly embarrassing since we don't know Ronnie that well! He showed us around to some must see sights of Vienna we hadn't seen yet. He took us up to a hill where we could see the whole city.
Then we watched the US lose to Ghana! Sad.
Looks like so much fun! And you look adorable!! Can't believe you've been gone over a month! Miss you but so glad you get to do this!!
