Later that night we decided to go to Prater amusement park! Emperor Franz Joseph officially opened the park in 1766…that’s before America was even born in case you forgot. Crazy!!
We rode the famous giant Ferris wheel and took some pictures in the gift shop.
After the Ferris wheel, we walked around the park for a bit until finding the ultimate amusement park ride.
It is the most intense ride I have EVER been on.
This is a really bad and blurry picture of it, but at least it gives you an idea. You go around in a giant circle while spinning around and upside down in your chair of four people back to back.
Half way through the ride, they stop you at the top for a good while. We all thought we were done, but it was only half way over.
I screamed the ENTIRE time while Krystle did her nervous laugh next to me. (it's more fun that way).
Hallstatt, Austria
The group went to Hallstatt this weekend and it was so pretty! It made me miss Coeur 'd Alene though, especially when we rented paddle boats and floated around on the lake.
Castle on the side of the lake. We asked who lived there and were told it was the 'pork man'.
This is the window of the hostel we stayed at.
Pear tree growing on someone's house.
This was probably my favorite meal of my whole trip! Vegetables with noodles and sheep cheese sauce.
Maria looking gorgeous!
"I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person."
